Sea Slugs in local tidepools

You can find many of the more than 3,000 sub species of sea slugs in the tidepools of the Rocky Shores.

Try  the tide pools at Natural Bridges State Park in Santa Cruz, California. Alternatively, if you dislike the winter chill, the Seymour marine facilities at the University of California's Long Marine Labs always have a few of these critters on view.  Another great place to view these amazing animals is the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterery, California.

One thing to remember is that many of these sub species are cannibals.  They like to cannibalize after they mate.
